In honor of Amos, Havanese Rescue Inc has created the "Amos Alert." Lost and Found Havanese will be listed on this Amos Alert page.
Amos (left) was accidentally let out of his home on December 6, 2004. Sadly, after four weeks of intense searching, the body of Amos was found on January 3, 2005 in the woods.
Due to news coverage and hundreds of flyers that were posted in the area, the man who found Amos recognized him and carried him out of the woods, so at least his family did not spend endless months or even years wondering about him.
