Ginnie face

specialneedsiconGinny brings energy, affection, and cheer to a home. She has always lived in a loving environment and consequently has a secure and social nature. She also improves human’s physical health by encouraging daily walks and human’s mental health by providing relaxing snuggles and joyful greetings.

Ginnie Sitting
Ginny is a happy young thing at 4 years old. She gets along with people, big and little: she behaves well when visiting or encountering children. Ginny plays enthusiastically with other dogs. She is agile and very coordinated physically and would be a good candidate for agility training.
   Ginnie Side
Ginny enjoys rides in the car, grooming, toys, tummy rubs, and giving kisses. She is both house and crate trained. She will signal her need to go out by a bark or by sitting at the door to the outside. Ginny is smart and learns commands easily.

Ginny is perfect in every way, although she does have Diabetes Insipidus (DI), which means that Ginny’s body is unable to concentrate urine. Right now Ginny takes a pill three times a day. DI does not progress/get worse or shorten a dog’s life. Read more about DI and its treatments at: http://www.petwave.com/Dogs/Dog-Health-Center/Hormonal-and-Metabolic-Disorders/Diabetes-Insipidus.aspx, and read of the experiences of others DI dog owners at: http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/diabetes_insipidus_dogs/.

Ginny should live with a person or persons who are around the home most of the time. She would enjoy being the only dog in a home or part of an easygoing dog group.
