TicToc - CopyThe old saying that good things come in small packages certainly holds true for TicToc. Weighing in at a ‘hefty’ 7 pounds, this little guy has a heart, spirit and atSeniorAdvantageIcontitude as big as Texas. Strutting his way into the home and hearts of all who meet him, TicToc is quite the character.

Due to life's circumstances and no fault of anyone, TicToc at 11 years lost his beloved family. Grieving and unhappy, HRI was there to scoop him up and give him a soft place to land. Quickly it was learned he had TicToc3very low thyroid and was losing fur. He was put on frequent baths and medication and he now is getting new fur growth. He seems happier, has an appetite to rival any 100 pound dog, and a perky attitude that makes him endearing to all who meet him.

He loves his down comforter on the sofa, and if you want dances when he sees food, he’ll oblige. He isn’t a barker, and has taught himself to ring the bells hanging on the door when he needs to go outside. He’s totally TicToc2housebroken. The only ‘fault’ he has if it can be called a fault is he abhors his crate. His foster mom isn’t sure why; but since he’s housebroken, she feels he deserves to sleep with his comforter any time he wants.

TicToc would do well with a retired couple that wants a loving and very sweet Havanese and doesn’t mind frequent baths and oral medication (he fits very nicely in the kitchen sink).  He thrives on routine and a calm home.  Very young children rattle him. All he wants is his down comforter to snuggle in, lots of ear scratches, and a good supply of snacks. TicTic will make an incredible companion for some lucky family.
