He is a love and wants nothing more than to cuddle and gently nudge your arm for belly and ear scratches. He is a bit of a clown and happily amuses as he tosses his toys and runs from room to room with sheer joy and abandon.

Teddy is housebroken and is quickly learning the ins and outs of the doggie door. He gets along wonderfully with the three resident Havs and is also a good eater. A great sleeper as well.

Teddy is happy to spend the night either in a crate or his foster mom's bed. He walks quite well on a leash, enjoys grooming, and travels well. He is truly a dream dog - loving and affectionate; calm, yet playful. He is a bit shy around men, so any males in the home have to be the patient type.

Here's Teddy's list of wants and needs:

• One other small dog in the home; he loves the companionship of another dog. No exceptions.
• Fenced yard; no invisible fencing. No exceptions.
• A quiet home. He has not been around young children, so we would prefer placing him in a home without kids. No exceptions.

Teddy loves routine, so, if you have a boring house, he's your pup. Someone around the home most of the time to keep him company is also preferred.
