  • About Havanese

Havvi3Her new family needs to be patient and continue working with her so she knows what's expected. Havvi walks well on a leash and enjoys walks.  She says short ones are okay, but long ones are even better! She loves exploring the world. Havvi is crate trained, but would love to sleep in a bed with her person at night.

Havvi is very affectionate and loves to snuggle with her foster mom or to sit in her foster mom's lap. She will lie in her bed when commanded, however, and wait for her foster mom to ask her to come up. She is a bit nervous whenever someone new walks into the room and may bark, particularly at men. She's not fond of men in her home and will need to work on that with her forever family.

Havvi has dermatitis as a result of an allergic reaction but is currently being treated and healing quite nicely. She will need a few more weeks of medicated baths. She is otherwise healthy and very happy.
Havvi is learning to play with toys, but thinks people are the best. She would love a family of her own without men where her mom is home much of the day. She'd like to spend time outside in the yard or going on walks. She's a very snuggly dog and would love someone who likes to cuddle their pet.
