Corty_standingCorCorty2ty is learning that living with humans can be a good thing, but he is very uncomfortable around little humans (children). He also needs at least one dog companion (but no more than two) to help him continue to learn all the things a Havi needs to know.

Corty will definitely need a house with a fence. He has learned to play with toys by watching other dogs and loves to chase a ball that he will throw to himself! Once he feels he can trust you, he will lay next to you for as long as you will let him. He likes to be groomed and gentle scratches under his ears are almost as good as treats. He will even accept a belly rub here and there.

Corty3Corty loves to go for walks and does very well on a leash. He does well around other dogs (as long as there aren’t too many) and takes treats very gently. Corty needs a home that is relatively quiet, with a very patient family willing to understand his fears and help him work through them. Once this beautiful boy can overcome his fears, he will be a wonderful companion!
