He loves children, chewing his rawhide bones and playing with his stuffed toys- then he hoards them all in the doggy donut bed while he sleeps on top of them!  Harvey gets along with cats and other Havanese. In fact he actually seems to like being around the other dogs as opposed to being the only dog.  He has adapted well to eating and sleeping in a crate now.

Harvey stands or paces at the door to go outside to potty so he is completely potty trained.  Harvey likes his rides in the car and walks nicely on a leash.  It is apparent that he was very loved and cared for in his former home.  Harvey takes medication twice a day for a well-controlled medical problem.

He would be a great dog for a family with older children perhaps, or an older single person or couple, probably a home that is more on the quiet side than a super busy one.
Harvey’s wish list in a forever home would be: • Someone home most of the day
• Fenced yard to run and play safely
• Another dog would be nice but not required
• Plenty of toys and treats
