Why indeed, it's definitely not the prize she's been wishing for!

KatieYinKatie has been through a blizzard, excessive heat warnings, a drought, a record setting thunderstorm with flooding. She has enjoyed running through snowdrifts, rolling in lush green grass, laying on brown dried out straw, slopping through the flooded swamp and just basking in the sun.

Katie feels she has experienced all the weather in the US and could be happy anywhere in the world. She doesn't ask for much, just a family of her own who will love her for who she is.

Who is she you ask? Katie is a SURVIVOR, she lived 6 long years in a puppy mill and has spent the past year learning to be a dog, someone's pampered pet. She takes her lessons seriously and works very hard to earn a pat on the head, a bully stick or yummy treat, praise and a soft bed to lie her head down on.

Katie goes to bed every night praying that the Inbox on her foster mom's computer will deliver that perfect application that proves her hard work, her cuteness, her dedication to detail, her spryness that enables her to leap over baby gates in a single bound, have all paid off.

KatieILyangKatie's long sought after prize is a family of her own to play fetch with, to accompany on car rides, to sleep in bed with, to curl up on the lap of, to drag off to agility events where she can meet up with other pups which she enjoys. A family that will appreciate Katie's delight at the simplest things in life, her gratitude for the smallest token of your love, the comfort she will find snuggled up next to you.

Katie is being fostered in Illinois but is willing to travel a little bit if you are the lucky family that is the answer to her prayers....
