Porter is a twelve pound, 5 to 6 year old Havanese recently rescued from a puppy mill. He is becoming more comfortable with people with each day that passes and his tail never stops wagging! He is very handsome and healthy, only needing to add a few pounds to his frame and since he's a good eater that shouldn't be a problem.

Porter loves to try and bury his rawhide bones under the furniture and to drag all of the toys out of the toy basket. He gets along great with other dogs, children and is most comfortable with women although a patient man can win him over now that his confidence is building.

Porter is adjusting well to living in his foster family's home after the years he spent in the puppy mill. He will need a family with patience, lots of time and love to continue to help him overcome his shyness, to build his confidence with training and to help him complete House training 101.

Porter is being fostered in Kansas.
