gracieheadshot2 cropDid you know that petting a dog can lower your blood pressure and reduce your heart rate? Gracie is happy to promote your good health by offering herself up for some good pets, especially if you want to rub her silky ears.

Gracie in AZ 1 resizedGracie is a darling Havanese with a Belton coat. She’s petite and if she carried a roll of quarters, she might tip the scale at 10 pounds. Gracie will be celebrating her 12th birthday on May 31. Maybe she will get an adoption application by that time and can pack her doggie bag for her permanent home!

Gracie is up-to-date on all her shots and has had her teeth cleaned and eyes checked.

This sweet girl is house trained and leash trained. She is happy to spend time with adults and older children, but she is nervous around younger children. Gracie gets along with other dogs and enjoys the company of her two small canine foster siblings. She reportedly does not do well with cats.

Amazing Gracie has survived two close calls in her life. When living with her original family, twice she was snatched from her backyard on a golf course by a coyote, but both times she escaped thanks to intervention from nearby golfers in a golf cart.

Gracie would love a family of her own. She’s easy going and would be good company for someone who is home much of the time. If you are looking for that special someone to bring a smile to your face and a little more love to your life, Gracie’s your gal.
