Coco is new to HRI and already has been flooded with adoption applications, so much so that she is being marked as “Adoption Pending.” She is an adorable little three-year-old, thirteen- pound “Little Princess.” This timid girl has been busy learning under the care and guidance of her foster parents. She has blossomed! She has learned to walk on a leash, mind her manners at the dinner table, and piddle outside (which is taking a little more time).
Coco’s former mommy had memory care issues so Coco is learning many things for the first time. She is sweet and interested, so she is learning fast. She just may require a little more patience and reinforcement as she learns how to be a dog in her new home.
She enjoys playing and chasing her stuffed toy. She has been wagging her tail and is friendly toward others but still tends to be timid around strangers. Coco’s favorite pastimes are her stuffed toys, sunning outside on the deck and purveying her “neighborhood.” She's very curious, following her people around. She likes to grab socks from the laundry room and throw them around. She LOVES her walks and believes herself to be “Queen of the Neighborhood.”
Coco is being fostered in Indiana and has an adoption pending.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
