Monty, short for Montezuma Man, was the most gentle and sweet gentleman you'll ever would have met. He loved to have his belly rubbed, snuggles from the humans he followed from room to room all day and he was housetrained. Monty celebrated his 10th birthday at the same time he found hs forever home - a very Happy 10th for Monty!
Monty slept well in a crate, and walked well on a leash. He was quite overweight when adopted but had been put on a special diet and enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood which helped him trim down. Each day he went a little further than the day before! With his medication and special diet, along with increased exercise he worked hard to get to try to get to a healthy weight.
Monty found his forever family and made his wish come true to make someone very happy. All he wanted was love, love, and more love! Luckily for him, he found the perfect family who gave him exactly what he needed!
Monty was fostered, adopted, loved and will be missed in NJ.
