Dear Eddie gets along with almost anyone – cats, dogs and children over twelve, but prefers to stay away from smaller children who may not understand that Eddie does best in a tranquil environment. At eleven years old, Eddie has a grade 4+ heart murmur and can occasionally have high blood pressure, which needs to be checked regularly. Because of kidney disease, he is on prescription kidney food.
Eddie experiences some separation anxiety so he would prefer to be in a home with another dog and with someone who is home most of the time to keep him company.
Eddie is not neutered and needs a bit of work on house training, but is crate trained and walks well on a leash.
Eddie would love a fenced in back yard to explore and a human to cuddle with.
