Pixie in Virginia 2017 10 yo HeadshotTen-year-old Pixie is new to foster care. She is a sweet and somewhat shy little dog but she has grown comfortable with her foster parents and will now sit on both of their laps.

Pixie is easy-going and easy to care for. She’s crate-trained, but she only uses her crate at night. She gets along very well with her foster siblings. Pixie is active but doesn’t seem to understand play. It could be that this is still an adjustment period for her.SeniorAdvantageIcon

We’ll share more about Pixie when we get to know her better.

Pixie is being fostered in Virginia.

This is a new arrival and we haven't really gotten to know him/her as yet. Please check back as the listing will be updated as soon as we have more information and more cute photos!

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application, however, please be aware than our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit, and yours, to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and SeniorAdvantageIconbehavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
