Eight-year-old Max is an adorable and loving Havanese who recently came to rescue. He is part of our Foster-To-Adopt-Program.
Max enjoys being with people. He’d describe it as his number one hobby! He rings a bell to go outside to do his business, but afterwards he wants to go right back into the house. He’s not one for chasing squirrels or hanging out in the yard on his own. He is described as a very calm, velcro dog.
Though he has no teeth due to severe dental disease, Max is able to eat kibble without any problems.
Max recently began marking in the house and is now wearing a belly band to help manage this habit while his foster-to-adopt family is working with him on this issue. He also needs to be neutered which may help with the matter.Max is being fostered in Pennsylvania.

A fee will be requested to adopt every dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog’s age and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required for those interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
