This darling boy with the plaintive expression is three-year-old Harvey.

He is quite shy and scared when he meets people, often standing back while wagging his tail. Given a little time, he will lick your hand, but he takes some time to warm up to people, doing better with women and children.

Harvey enjoys other dogs and also was interested in and respectful to the family cat he met in foster care.Harvey enjoys taking walks and is leash trained. He doesn’t play with toys, but he assured us he’s very fond of treats!

Harvey is working on house training in his foster home. He also needs to gain some confidence so he’s more comfortable around people.

Harvey has a tough time with car rides, so he’s hoping that his forever home will be close to his foster home.

Harvey is being fostered in Pennsylvania.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
