This 15-pound boy also likes to run and play - particularly with children. He will play with other dogs, but he may do best as the only dog of the family or with a dog that will allow him to be the alpha of the house.

Smokey has a long list of favorite activities: running, swimming, going for walks, sitting in your lap and receiving belly, bottom and ear rubs. He also loves to sleep on the bed at your feet at night.

Smokey's list of things he does not like includes thunderstorms, being left alone, riding in the car and being in a crate.

He is very polite and not destructive at all, so he hopes to have free reign of his new home. Smokey walks well on a leash and is house-trained. He does best on a set eating schedule to ensure no accidents.

Smokey's perfect family would include children and someone who is home most of the time.
