Is it possible to resist this adorable face? We hope not! Sweet, loveable Max is looking for a new home. He is eight years old, 17 1/2 pounds and has lots of love to give.

Max is well behaved and affectionate. When meeting new people Max can initially be a bit shy and anxious. When given some time to feel safe and gain a little trust, however, he will warm up and show you his fabulous personality.

Max loves treats, snuggles and a good long walk (or two)! When he gets excited there is a sparkle in his eye and his tail whirls ‘round and ‘round in a circle.

Max is not a huge fan of riding in cars, but if he is crated in the backseat with a familiar blanket or pad he manages just fine. He could use a little help in learning how to walk on a leash without pulling or zigzagging, and some basic obedience training to learn a few commands such as “come” and “stay” for safety purposes.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
