Eight-year-old Max is an adorable and loving Havanese who recently joined his current foster home in North Carolina. Max is a small Havanese weighing about 8 pounds.
Max loves being with people. He’d describe it as his number one hobby! He rings a bell to go outside to do his business but afterwards he wants to come right back into the house. He’s not one for chasing squirrels or hanging out in the yard on his own. People are his favorite things in this world and he becomes anxious when he is left alone. His new foster home is working on these issues with Max.
Though he has no teeth due to severe dental disease, Max is able to eat kibble without any problems.
Max is working on house training. Because he has been marking in the house, he is now wearing a belly band to help manage this habit while he is retrained. Max was scheduled to be neutered but the surgery was delayed because of mildly elevated liver enzymes. It is expected he’ll be neutered in a few weeks. Hopefully the neutering and retraining will help with his house training and problem with marking.
MAX is being fostered in NC.
