Gracie March 23 2020 cropped

HeadPlaceHolderWe have sad news that Gracie’s condition took a downward turn, and she passed away on June 3rd at the vet clinic. We thank her caring foster dad for the excellent care that he gave Gracie during this very tough and sad foster period.

Who doesn’t need a little grace in their life? This Gracie is sweet, friendly and quiet. She may be new to foster care, but she is already following her foster dad everywhere and her favorite activity is snuggling. A darling little love bug!

Gracie is just five years old and weighs eight to nine pounds. She does well with dogs and children, but she has not been exposed to cats in our care. She is house-trained and leash-trained, but needs a little coaxing to start eating. She is also not terribly playful, but as she gets more comfortable and secure with her new home she may come out of her shell even more.

Gracie was recently diagnosed with Cushing's disease and has started treatment for it. She will go for a follow-up visit to the vet to see how she is responding to her new medication and we will have more information in the near future.
