Belle is a very happy and playful little Havanese. She is able to entertain herself on her own with some toys, but also enjoys spending time with her humans as well as playing with other dogs and even cats if the cat is agreeable! Though she is fine on her own for a few hours, Belle would really like to have a home where someone is around much of the day. 

Belle enjoys going on walks and is good on a leash. A true velcro dog, she likes snuggling up to someone or sitting on a lap. Belle warms up quickly to others and so far has shown herself to be comfortable with men, women, and children over the age of 10. We haven’t seen her around younger children. 

Overall, Belle is a quiet dog though she lets her people know if she hears a knock at the door. She is still working on her house training but is a smart little dog who wants to please. Consistency and a routine will help with her house training. She is working on some basic commands. Belle is crate trained and sleeps in a crate at night with little fuss, but her dream is to lay in bed with her human. Maybe you are just the person she’s dreaming of!

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
