Coming into rescue as a stray, he was extremely matted hence the shaved look. Havi’s exact heritage is unknown; however, he displays all the attributes Havanese dogs are known for – he is cute, sweet, affectionate, intelligent, adaptable and sociable.

Havi loves his people and likes to do to whatever they are doing. When it’s time to go for a walk, one of his favorite activities, he is more than ready! He wants to be in front of his human, but he doesn’t pull on the leash. When it’s time to rest, he snuggles up and is happy just lying next to his human.

He gets along well with the resident dog and cat. Although his invitations to play are ignored, he is curious and very gentle with them.

Havi is willing to learn and has quickly adapted to his new home. He is a cute guy, healthy, easy to love and easy to take care of. He is adaptable and would make a great addition to any family, household or environment.

Havi is being fostered in California.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
