Charlie is a senior gal who is looking for a low-energy and quiet home. She may do best with senior humans. Charlie is leash and house trained.  Charlie loves going for leisurely walks with her family while sniffing around and enjoying the sunlight. She does need her naps and loves to snuggle with you. 

Due to Charlie’s age she does have a couple of minor issues that need to be tended to - an eye infection and a hot spot.  Her vision is good, but her hearing is fading, which is common in Havanese of her age.  She has some skin tags, thinning hair, and losing teeth.  Charlie would love a home that would help her onto the couch for snuggles while bathing in the sunlight.

Charlie  is being fostered in Maine.

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application; however, please be aware that our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit and yours to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. 

A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
