Bitsy2

Bitsy enjoys the finer things in life: a soft couch, a soft bed, lying in the sunshine, delicious food and treats, tummy rubs and ear scratches, and a few dashes around the living room each day.

Bitsy is used to eating and sleeping in her crate. She is mostly house trained though she doesn’t signal when she needs to go out which has resulted in a few accidents in the house. She does well when her family brings her outside regularly.

Bitsy had dental work which left her with only four teeth. This hasn’t stopped her from enjoying her meals, however, and she’s working her way back to eating her dry kibble. Bitsy has a mature cataract that was evaluated by an ophthalmologist. It was determined that surgery is not necessary. It is estimated that the cataract forming in her other eye will not reach maturity for another three to four years.

Bitsy is very friendly and loves everyone! She is very good in the car and would make a nice travel buddy. Sweet and easy-going Bitsy would love to have a few special people of her own and would make a great addition to a family hoping to find a small and loving companion.

Bitsy is being fostered in North Carolina.

A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
