Please meet Lady Jaye, one of our most recent princesses at HRI. Though she is a royal princess she does not mind working – she is a professional lap warmer and snuggle-cuddle buddy! She is just 18 months old and maintains a girlish figure at 15.5 pounds. This beautiful young lady is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She knows some basic commands, like “sit” and “come,” and has excellent leash manners. Like any princess, she can be a picky eater, but she loves mealtime and snacks. She is a little shy, but is becoming more and more confident and social.
Lady Jaye attaches to people quickly and would do best with someone who would enjoy taking her around with them during the day. She is an excellent passenger in the car and loves long road trips!
Lady Jaye quickly bonded with her foster sister-pup and follows her around, taking cues on the do’s and don’ts of the household. When out in public, she sticks to her foster mom and foster sister-pup like glue, looking up to them for clues on what to do.
Lady Jaye has a lot of young dog energy. She really 
enjoys her long walks, loves a vigorous game of fetch, followed by a lot of goofy running around the yard with her foster sister-pup. She LOVES her chew toys!
Lady Jaye is patient with grooming, although it might not be on her “most fun” list of things to do, But she knows that as a princess, she must always look beautiful!
Lady Jaye’s Wish List includes:
• Another young dog in the home to play with and learn from
• Someone who has a lot of time to spend with her – snuggling and loving on her
• Someone who will take her on outings to experience new, exciting adventures
• Someone who will snuggle with her on the couch and at night on their bed
• A fenced yard where she can be footloose and fancy-free, or at least an owner who will take her on a lot of long walks.

gal. But remember – cuddling is mandatory!
