Buster is a healthy, friendly and playful little guy, weighing 17 pounds. He has a beautiful soft black coat with a patch of white on his chest and a tinge of brown around his face.
 
Buster gets along fine with cats and children and he definitely would love
another canine companion in his life.  He loves to chase toys and he'll even
bring them back sometimes. When he is really curious about something he often
stands on his hind legs to get a better look! And he sits on his bottom in an
upright position, especially if he thinks he might get a tummy rub just for
being so darned cute (which of course he does!!).

Buster enjoys exploring the backyard so a fenced-in yard is important. He walks well on a leash and enjoys long walks. He loves, loves, loves to go with you ANYWHERE in the car! He currently sleeps in a crate and does well with that, but he would love to snuggle in your bed with you if you'd let him. His favorite spot for snoozing during the day is on the back of the couch.
 
Buster asks to be let out and he is learning to ring the bells at the back door as an additional signal to go out and potty. Buster is very smart and learns quickly. He came to us knowing how to "sit", "shake" and "stay" and has picked up routines very quickly in his foster home. He'll be a good student for his new family!
