What a sweet boy this little guy is! Sensei is so charming and has such a sweet
personality that his former groomer reached out to HRI to tell us how much they
liked him and asked if there was anything they could do to help him find a new
home.
Sensei enjoys his daily walks, preferring long ones if he has a choice about the
matter. He’s very playful and dearly loves the company of another dog. This
sociable guy needs another dog in his forever family that will enjoy playing
with him. He relies on this regular daily interaction.
 
While he is initially cautious around strangers, once he knows you he is very loving. Sensei thinks every lap needs a dog and seeks to fulfill that destiny!
 
 
 
 
He enjoys the company of both men and women and also likes children who know how to interact with a dog. He is very sensitive to loud people, even if they’re being friendly. We are unsure how he is around cats as he hasn’t had experience with them in his foster home.

Sensei appreciates a well-stocked toy box. He likes playing fetch and thinks treat balls and dog puzzles are great fun.
Sensei is working on house training. We are certain he will continue to progress with consistency. He is sensitive to changes in diet as well. Table food and untested treats give him an upset stomach.
 
 
 
 
 
This loving and handsome boy will be a wonderful addition to the family fortunate enough to adopt him.
 

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
