Four-year-old Moxy is an active, friendly little Havanese who is adjusting well in foster care. He’s white with very light tan spots and has soulful brown eyes and a brown nose.
Moxy weighs 15 pounds. He's happiest while on the move, so we're working on getting some more photos of him. He's just not one to pose.Moxy is house trained, is crate trained and walks well on a leash. He is trustworthy indoors and out. He sleeps in his crate at night. Moxy is a trouper, doing well with grooming and even accepts it when his nails need to be trimmed. 
Moxy loves attention from people more than anything else. A close second, however, is playing with chew toys. Moxy also likes to keep an eye on the world. He perches atop an upholstered chair and watches through the window in his foster home. Moxy gets along with other dogs and seems to enjoy their company. He loves to play "chase" with them and also wrestles and plays tug with toys. Moxy is accepting of men, women and teenagers. He's not spent time around children in his foster home and we do not know how he gets along with cats. Nothing fazes Moxey: He handles everything from thunderstorms to pedicures with equanimity. Moxy is learning positive ways to get attention. He is friendly, and he can be extra friendly! With time and a secure source of love, he should mellow nicely.
He'd love a family of his own with someone who wants to spend time with him. He'd do well as an only dog if his person was around much of the time. Moxy also gets along quite well with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine brother or sister.
