Happy Beginnings

Goofy is a sweet and gentle boy who is adjusting beautifully to foster care. He had never lived with other dogs or cats before foster care, but he seems happy to be part of a pack and gets along with his feline and canine foster siblings. Goofy also does well with children over the age of 10 years and likes both men and women.

His foster family feels he’d be an excellent fit with a quiet household.

Like most Havanese, Goofy is a velcro pup. He’s happiest if he’s close to his people. Though he’s initially shy around new folks, he warms up quickly.

He enjoys his walks on a leash around the neighborhood and those walks are also a nice way to bond with him.

Goofy is moderately active and appreciates a chance to explore in the fenced yard. He loves playing fetch and also entertains himself by throwing his toys into the air and chasing after them!

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application; however, please be aware that our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit and yours to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
