Happy Beginnings

Woody is an affectionate, very sweet, but also very active and energetic guy. Playing fetch 24/7 is his “thing,” and he never tires of it.

Woody is well socialized and friendly with everybody he meets, and he wants to have his people around him. He does not like being left alone and is quite vocal about it. He likes small dogs but is fearful of large ones.

Woody is already house broken, leash and crate trained. However, being so full of energy and ready to go, he still needs to learn to wait at the door or gate instead of dashing out.

Woody is a well-adjusted, healthy dog (with a mild luxating patella, which does not seem to slow him down). If you are looking for a great companion – and have some energy to spare - Woody is your kind of guy.

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application; however, please be aware that our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit and yours to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
