Sweet little Rosie is an affectionate pup who has made herself at home rather quickly since coming into foster care. She is super food motivated and not used to sharing. She wants to be first in line for treats and the only one in line! Using treats will be helpful in training this smart little girl. Rosie already knows “sit” and “down” and will likely master more tricks and commands, but keep the snacks coming!
Rosie loves tussling and playing with her foster brother and we think she would thrive in a household with another confident and playful dog. She can be a bit bossy and over zealous when she plays, so older dogs or dogs that prefer to be left alone might not appreciate her energy. Also on Rosie’s top ten list is mealtime (there is a theme here), exploring and napping near her people. Rosie prefers to sleep on the bed with her humans at night and would like her new household to allow that.
As mentioned, Rosie does well with other dogs and adult humans, but has not met cats or children while in our care.
Rosie is currently in foster care in Washington
