Luna spent her first 4 yrs in a puppy mill that recently closed their doors. After a brief period of looking sad and feeling tense and unsure, Luna somehow managed to emerge as Ms. Personality Plus! Her foster parents have decided that she needed a new name to match the new life she has ahead of her and now sing songs to "Lizzie" all day long.
She is catching up on much needed sleep, investigating and approving of the house and gardens that are a whole new world to her. At night she sleeps soundly in her crate next to her foster mom's bed. The days are spent running off with her gardening gloves in mischievous delight.
Her foster brother sticks close to her side, preferring to share the same food dish at dinner time and enjoying their rampant games of chase through the garden beds and on through the house. Lizzie is discovering a wonderful and big world outside, far away from the misery she left behind. She almost prances as she runs, just full of joy at her new found freedom.
