Coco is a four-year-old silver-tipped female with lots of curls, weighing 14 pounds.
Coco is leash and crate trained and is working on several things at once. She loves to go for walks, which helps make her potty training a bit easier. She is doing very well in that department since a reliable schedule has been introduced. We think Coco will do best in a home with just adults as small children make her nervous. Even though Coco has been an only pet for most of her life, she gets along with her foster siblings but tends to bark at the cats. A home with no feline friends would probably be more peaceful for everyone.
Coco is shy and reticent to make friends. She likes to get to know you on her own terms. With love and patience, Coco has become more socialized and now welcomes love and cuddles. Keep in mind that everything around Coco is new to her — our world not hers. Once she learns to trust a loving hand, she will give freely and gladly her most prized possession — her heart.
Coco is being fostered in NC.
