Murphy entertains himself quite well, mostly by chewing on his favorite toys and watching the world through the window.  But though he can keep himself appropriately busy, Murphy loves people and is always ready for a walk, a car ride or some ear rubs.  

  Murphy's good social skills aren't limited to people either.  He also gets along with cats and dogs. 

Murphy is crate trained and leash trained and is doing quite well with his remedial house training.  He comes when called and sits, especially if he knows a treat may be involved.  He even handles bathing and grooming calmly. 

This sweet guy is healthy overall.  Murphy has a low-grade heart murmur with no symptoms and no need for medication.  He does have some allergies so his foster mom wipes his feet when he comes in from outdoors. 

Murphy is actively wishing for a family of his own where he can have love and attention and a spot by the window so he can comfortably rest while waiting for his humans when they're out.  Car rides and time to romp are big pluses in his book.  And of course he'd like some toys to chew on and maybe some canine companionship.  Mostly though he wants someone to appreciate all the love he has to give.   

Murphy is being fostered in Illinois.
