Mickey in MN 2

Mickey is your typical Velcro dog, wanting to be wherever you are: he likes to snuggle next to you on the couch and be pet. He spends a lot of his day playing with his doggie foster brother and sisters, but he also he also enjoys lying on a doggie bed chewing a bone or playing with a toy.

Mickey spent his puppy days in a shelter and so did not receive the socialization puppies need to learn to trust people. When he came into rescue, he was very hand shy and would not let anyone touch him or pick him up. He has made wonderful progress in foster care. He likes being pet, and he allows people to touch him. With the proper home and training, he will get over his remaining fears and shyness.
