Katie after her bath June 2013 008Katie is now a healthy 9-pound bundle of sugar sweetness! Katie's nicknames are Little Missy Prissy Britches, Rootin' Tootin' Cowgirl, and  Princess Twinkle Belle KATIE, aka Katie-did! (Her foster mom can only gush about what a precious presence Katie brings to her home and everyone who meets Katie just melts!)

Katie spies a fairy in the gardenKatie's age has now been estimated(by a vet specialist) to be approximately 10 years of age. She does not require long walks, seeming to prefer exploring the flower gardens in the backyard, searching for butterflies & fairies, geckos & chameleons. She likes her little special places inside the home with a cozy soft doggy bed near her foster fur brothers & foster mom. She has her own little 'Archie Bunker' spot on the sofa for evening TV viewing that she, in her sweet little quiet 'twirling' manner, claims as her own.

Katie loves to be cooed at, happy talks directed at her, she loves to sit close by (she is not a nudgy/needy/licky dog). Katie is pretty secure in herself; she knows that she's small so she's cautious and observant.

Katie smelling a violetKatie happily goes into her crate when foster mom needs to run errands with her foster fur brothers in their crate next to hers Bedtime is a happy time of maneuvering to her spot on the bed with her foster human & 2 foster fur brothers.

Morning is a new beginning of sheer delight & possibilities for this little girl. Her history is one of having to work hard to 'earn her keep', having had numerous litters. Katie is now ready to be a retired Cinderella and Lady of Leisure. Her wish is to be in a home with preferably only one other dog (a gentle, easy-going male dog) and a 'true companion' human or human's who are ready to adore, be adored, & give this little special darlin' a life that she has waited so long to enjoy! Katie is a sparkle of pure, soft, feminine delight!!!!

Katie is being fostered in TX.
