From Willie's mom:
My Willie crossed the rainbow bridge last Sunday. I failed fostering, adopting him 8 years ago. He had a special personality that made him endearing to everyone who met himl and my home just hasn’t been the same without his serenades. He would have been 14 in January. Special thanks to Loving Hands here in Oregon and Dr. Seana who came to our house so I could hold him through the process.
Willie's a sweet 5 year old, neutered male. His soft coat is a beautiful cream color with gray on the ends of his ears & his tail. When he stares at you with those gentle, brown eyes you can't help but fall in love.
Willie's calm disposition & good looks managed to win him 3 titles at the neighborhood costume contest. Whether he was dressed as a mop, a plate of pasta, or one of the stuffed animals from ET, Willie played his role without a fuss.
At 16 lbs, Willie can trim down a bit. Playing tag through the house with his foster brothers & regular walks will help. After playing, Willie likes to just kick back to relax & recover. Tummy rubs are the best for Willie and he'll lay there for as long as you're willing to keep rubbing. Growing up, Willie's best friend was a cat. He gets along great with children & adults and after the first alert of new guests, welcomes them.
Willie is house trained & walks well on a leash. He does have a skin condition which is managed with regular medication which he takes without a problem, preferably hidden within a treat.
Willie is being fostered in No. California.
